Client Focused Services is seeking Community Events Volunteers to assist with inclusive community events. In this role, you’ll help participants engage in meaningful activities and feel a true sense of belonging.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of community events and activities that promote inclusion, connection, and engagement
- Assisting with setup, pack down, and general event coordination tasks as required
- Welcoming and engaging with participants, families, and community members in a friendly and inclusive manner
- Supporting facilitators and staff during workshops, information sessions, and group activities
- Assisting participants to take part in activities, ensuring accessibility and inclusion needs are met
- Providing general supervision and support to help maintain a safe, positive, and enjoyable event environment
- Helping with basic administration tasks such as registrations, sign-in processes, and information distribution
- Encouraging participation, social connection, and positive community interaction
- Following event plans, safety procedures, and instructions from staff or coordinators
- Representing the organisation in a professional, respectful, and community-focused manner

Essential Requirements
- Valid Working with Children Check (Blue Card) where required for specific events
- Willingness to complete a volunteer onboarding or induction process
- Ability to follow organisational policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries
Desirable
- Previous volunteer or community event experience
- Experience working or interacting with people with disability or diverse needs
- Interest in community services, disability inclusion, or event coordination
