Terms of Service

Client Focused Services (CFS)  |  Effective Date: 05 May 2026  |  Queensland, Australia

 

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Client Focused Services website located at clientfocused.net.au ("the Website"), including any account registration, event bookings, and online payments. By accessing the Website or creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully. If you do not agree to them, you must not use the Website or its features. These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which also forms part of your agreement with us.

Client Focused Services ("CFS", "we", "us", or "our") is a Queensland-based disability and aged care support services provider. ABN: 42 646 712 012.

1. Definitions

In these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • "Website" means the CFS website at clientfocused.net.au and all associated pages
  • "Account" means a registered client event portal account created on the Website
  • "User", "you", or "your" means any person who accesses or uses the Website, including registered account holders
  • "Client" means a person who receives or is registered to receive support services from CFS
  • "Event" means any group activity, workshop, community outing, or programme offered by CFS through the Website
  • "Services" means the disability support, aged care, and community services provided by CFS
  • "Content" means all text, images, graphics, video, and other materials on the Website

2. Website Use

2.1 Permitted Use

The Website is intended for use by CFS clients, their authorised representatives, carers, families, and general visitors seeking information about CFS and its services. You may use the Website to:

  • Access information about CFS services and support offerings
  • Contact CFS or submit enquiries
  • Complete the Client Intake Form to begin your care journey
  • Register for a client account (see Section 3)
  • Register for, pay for, and manage attendance at CFS-hosted events (see Sections 4 and 5)
2.2 Prohibited Use

You must not use the Website to:

  • Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, client accounts, or our systems
  • Harvest personal data about other users or staff
  • Use the Website in any way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its functionality
  • Post or transmit any content that is offensive, defamatory, or in breach of any applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Website for any user who breaches these Terms.

3. Client Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

CFS clients may register for a personal account on the Website. Accounts may be created by the client directly, or by an authorised representative (such as a parent, guardian, carer, or support coordinator) acting on their behalf.

To register, you must provide accurate and complete information as requested in the registration process. By registering, you confirm that:

  • You are a current or prospective CFS client, or an authorised representative of one
  • All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
  • You are 18 years of age or older, or are registering with the consent and oversight of a parent or legal guardian
3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials. You must not share your username or password with any unauthorised person. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact CFS immediately.

CFS will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised use of your account where we have acted in good faith on instructions received using your credentials.

3.3 Account Accuracy

You are responsible for keeping your account information up to date, including contact details and support preferences. Please notify us promptly of any changes.

3.4 Account Suspension or Termination

CFS reserves the right to suspend or deactivate client accounts at our reasonable discretion, including where:

  • These Terms have been breached
  • Your service agreement with CFS has ended
  • We have reason to believe the account has been compromised or misused

Clients may also request account closure at any time by contacting us.

4. Event Registration

4.1 Registering for Events

Registered account holders may browse, register their interest in, and book attendance at events hosted by CFS through the Website. Events may include group outings, recreational activities, workshops, social programmes, and community events.

By registering for an event, you confirm that:

  • You are the registered client or are acting as their authorised representative
  • Any information provided during registration is accurate
  • You have reviewed the event details, including any requirements or restrictions
4.2 Event Availability

Event places are subject to availability. CFS reserves the right to cap attendance at any event for safety or logistical reasons. Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment (where applicable) or written confirmation from CFS.

4.3 Event Changes and Cancellations by CFS

CFS reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel any event. Where an event is cancelled by CFS, registered participants will be offered a full refund or credit. CFS will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants as a result of event changes or cancellations (such as travel arrangements made independently).

4.4 Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel your event registration, please notify CFS as soon as possible. Cancellation terms are dependant on the event type and provided at the time of booking.

Exceptions may be made in cases of serious illness or emergency at CFS's discretion. Please contact us directly to discuss.

5. Payments

5.1 Payment Processing

Some events may require payment. All payments made through the Website are processed securely via our third-party payment gateway (Square). CFS does not store your full payment card details.

By submitting a payment, you authorise CFS to charge the amount displayed for the relevant event registration.

5.2 NDIS Billing

Where applicable, event costs may be claimable through your NDIS plan. It is your responsibility to ensure that any event you register for is an eligible support under your current plan. CFS can provide invoices and relevant documentation to support NDIS claims. Please speak with your support coordinator or plan manager if you are unsure.

5.3 Pricing and GST

All event prices displayed on the Website are in Australian dollars (AUD). Prices are inclusive of GST where applicable. CFS reserves the right to update event pricing at any time, but changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are processed in accordance with Section 4.4 (Client Cancellations) or in cases where CFS cancels an event (Section 4.3). Refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval. Please contact us at [Insert Contact Email] for all refund requests.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including text, images, logos, graphics, video content, and service descriptions, is owned by or licensed to Client Focused Services and is protected by Australian copyright law.

You may view and download content from the Website for personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, or use any Website content for commercial purposes without our express written permission.

The CFS name and logo are trademarks of Client Focused Services. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or right to use our trademarks.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by law, the Website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. CFS does not warrant that:

  • The Website will be continuously available or free from errors or interruptions
  • The information on the Website is always current, accurate, or complete
  • The Website is free from viruses or other harmful components

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any consumer guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CFS and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Website or any of its features - including event registrations or payments - even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to CFS in connection with the specific event or transaction giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). These links are provided for convenience only. CFS does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content or practices of third-party sites. You access such sites at your own risk.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is available at clientfocused.net.au/privacy-policy. By using the Website, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

13. Changes to These Terms

CFS reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. We will notify registered account holders of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. The current version will always be available on the Website.
